Certified organic. The Prà Valpolicella is passed over the dried grapes used to make the Amarone and macerated for five days. Aged 12 months in mostly used Allier tonneaux.
The Corvina gives spiciness and cherry aromas, Corvinone gives glycerine and vibrant freshness, Rondinella adds delicate fruit and light floral aromas while Oseleta provides color and robust tannins.
This is a mid-weight wine with some of the dried-fruit and pot-pourri character of the Amarone, but fresher, lower in alcohol, and more useful as a table wine.
