Domaine Marsoif, Chardonnay, Bourgogne Blanc Tonnerre "Cuvée de Marguerite" Burgundy, France 2022

The Marsoif Cuvée de Marguerite Bourgogne Blanc has aromas of concentrated stone fruit like apricot and peach, married with hints of spring wildflowers like hawthorn and acacia. Round & smooth on the medium palate with plenty of fresh fruit notes of golden apple, nectarine & pineapple with a long, mineral driven finish. Lemony and tangy flavors lend this wine freshness.

With decanting, the wine has richer fragrances of candied lemon, zest, and beeswax.  With age, it develops substance and fairly good volume. This Bourgogne Blanc has a very good balance between fullness and freshness.
