Saffredi is Fattoria Le Pupille’s flagship wine. It is a dense ruby red, with a very elegant and complex bouquet featuring hints of black cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry jam, anise, green pepper and cigar. Harmonious, with dense and integrated tannins of great finesse. Fresh, intense and balsamic, its long persistence is leaded by its prominent acidity.

When she was just 20 years old, Elisabetta Geppetti took over her family’s estate on the Tuscan coast. Today, she is known as the “Signora del Morellino” or the Lady of Morellino. And her daughter Clara Gentili now represents the second generation of women to lead this iconic winery.
