100% Sangiovese from old-vines in Montalcino. Organically cultivated, the grapes are hand-harvested, and macerate for 4-6 months (partially destemmed) in amphorae before pressing. Élevage in neutral vessel prior to bottling unfined, unfiltered, no additional SO2.
La Furba, which means “cunning” in Italian, is the latest addition to the Buon Tempo family. This particular cuvée arises from the desire not to wait for 2 years for the Rosso di Montalcino or 5 years for the Brunello before being able to taste the wines. Thus, a more accessible and fresh wine is born. Thanks to its terracotta amphora vinification, the wine matures more quickly than in wood and is suitable for youthful consumption. A limited-edition cuvée produced from only two amphorae.
